Cleanup Activities
Hazardous waste streams generated by the facility during active manufacturing operations were ignitable spent solvent and paint waste from cleaning of paint spraying equipment. No hazardous waste is generated by any of the current tenants. Review of all available records and discussions during a June 22, 2010, site visit indicate there are no known or documented releases of hazardous waste.
A Final Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Site Visit Report was issued on August 18, 2010, for the Facility. A Statement of Basis (SOB) was noticed on December 28, 2010. The EPA issued its Final Decision regarding the Facility on February 7, 2011, stating that Corrective Action was Complete without Controls.

The Facility is located at 5200 Glen Arm Road in Glen Arm, Baltimore County, Maryland. It is located on the north side of Glen Arm Road, just west of the intersection with Long Green Pike. County property records list the property as consisting of eight separate parcels with the same mailing address. The Facility occupies approximately 21.865 acres of land and the plant building, offices and related buildings occupy approximately 208,000 square feet.
Primary contaminants include ignitable spent solvent and paint waste from cleaning of paint spraying equipment.
