Texas Landfill Gas Energy Workshop
LMOP partnered with the Lone Star Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America (TxSWANA) to host a one-day workshop on landfill gas (LFG) utilization in Garland, Texas, on July 16, 2013. The workshop covered a variety of topics, including LFG collection and utilization technologies, project financial considerations and incentives, regulations impacting LFG capture and use, and LMOP technical assistance and tools. Case studies of successful LFG energy projects that have been implemented in Texas were also featured.
