Public Notice: PN 2024 Knowlton Technologies
Summary
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is requesting public comment on its proposed approval of New York State’s plan to address emissions from the Knowlton Technologies facility in Watertown, New York.
The EPA is proposing to approve the revised volatile organic compound, or VOC, emission limits submitted by the state for two underground storage tanks at the facility because the emission limits are reasonable considering the current control technologies available to reduce emissions.
Before the EPA makes a final decision, the public is encouraged to provide comment on the EPA’s proposed approval. The public can review the proposed regulation and technical support documents and submit comments through www.regulations.gov. The EPA will consider all comments before issuing its final decision
