The EPA, in cooperation with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, announces the release of the Proposed Plan and beginning of the Public Comment Period for the Lane Plating Works, Inc. Superfund Site located in Dallas, Texas. The EPA will hold a public meeting to inform residents of the proposed cleanup strategy and how to submit comments on the Proposed Plan.
The Proposed Plan provides the results of the Remedial Investigation, describes the remedial alternatives evaluated in the Feasibility Study Report, solicits public review and comment on the remedial alternative, and provides information on how the public can be involved in the remedy selection process. The comment period for the proposed plan will be from February 13, 2025, to April 14, 2025.
