Antimicrobials Division (AD)
The Antimicrobials Division (AD) is responsible for all regulatory activities associated with antimicrobial pesticides, including:
- product registrations;
- amendments; and
- reregistrations.
Biopesticides and Pollution Prevention Division (BPPD)
Biopesticides and Pollution Prevention Division (BPPD) is responsible for all regulatory activities associated with biologically-based pesticides, for example, product registration, amendments, experimental use permits, registration review. BPPD activities also include work to reduce pesticide risks by:
- promoting integrated pest management; and
- coordinating the Pesticide Environmental Stewardship Program.
Pesticide Reevaluation Division (PRD)
The Pesticide Reevaluation Division (PRD) is responsible for:
- registration review; and
- reregistration follow up for conventional pesticides including:
- post-RED activities,
- product reregistration, and
- implementing certain tolerance reassessment decisions)
Registration Division (RD)
The Registration Division (RD) is responsible for the following actions for conventional chemical pesticides:
- product registrations;
- amendments;
- registrations;
- tolerances;
- experimental use permits; and
- emergency exemptions.
The division also evaluates and approves inert ingredients.
