Our Projects
Background
EPA funds diesel emissions reduction projects throughout the West Coast region as part of its collaborative efforts with West Coast Collaborative (WCC). The most longstanding grant program EPA has administered is the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) authorized by the 2005 Energy Policy Act. As stipulated in the Act, this funding is appropriated towards both national competitive grants (National DERA) as well as state, territory, and tribal allocations (State DERA and Tribal DERA).
EPA is currently administering three temporary programs that aim to reduce diesel emissions in the US. Visit the following program pages to learn more:
WCC has administered other grant programs in the past along with a variety of other DERA projects. If you’d like to learn more about any of these older projects, please contact us.
